Hi John What are you trying to achieve? Sounds like you are trying to feed the UT a TAB file that has an associated raster file. As far as I am aware the UT is not designed to deal with raster formats or the TAB files associated with raster files that hold the projection and georeferencing info. All you need to do to get it into Arc is open the raster file in MapInfo and check the projection and points used for georeferencing noting coordinate info (or read by opening TAB file with notepad) then regeoreference the raster file in Arc using that info. If you do not have Arc and need to pass on to someone simply give them the raster file plus the data relating to projection and the points to be used for georeferencing the raster file. Hope that helps Regards Tom Orr Orr & Associates -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups 'MapInfo-L' group. To post a message to this group, send email to To unsubscribe from this group, go to: For more options, information and links to MapInfo resources (searching archives, feature requests, to visit our Wiki, visit the Welcome page at John Elliot 19/6/2010, 5:39 น.
