Install Nas On Iomega Storcenter Ix2 Software

Hello I realise that my NAS is not on the supported NAS devices to run Plex however I am curious if I could install Plex onto an Iomega ix-200 NAS device. At the moment my movies and TV shows are on my NAS device which I can access from all my computers at home both Windows and Android. At the moment I am using my Window's 7 computer to run Plex by accessing my stuff on the NAS box. I very much would like to cut out the middle man and turn off my power hungry computer and use Plex to access my stuff on the NAS box. As far as I can make out my NAS runs on a modified form of Debian, so would it play nicely with the Plex software? I have very rudamentary skills at computer stuff, however I am willing to give anything a try.

On my laptop I am running Iomega StorCenter software to manage and access my NAS. Should I download and install LenovoEMC Storage Manager for Windows, to replace StorCenter? All help is appreciated.
